Arenastone Quartz Worktops from Affordable Granite

Arenastone quartz worktops at Affordable Granite

We have installed hundreds of Arenastone quartz worktops over the history of Affordable Granite. Early on in the quartz era I would have said that Arenastone was forever playing ‘catch-up’ with the big brands and their latest developments in quartz surfaces. But over the last few years, they have come out with a number of really great materials, some of which have been “best of their type” in our market. Arenastone Calacatta Baleno is a case in point – a truly lovely big-veined white marble-look quartz, and we have sold a lot of it..

Like all “quartz” in our industry, Arenastone is an engineered stone, made up of around 93% natural, hard minerals held together with around 7% plastic polymer resin, pigment etc. Arenastone is a good solid brand, and we have experienced very few issues installing it.

Arenastone - Product Range

Like other makes of stone for quartz worktops, Arenastone groups products into price bands. These are shown below. Do bear in mind, though, that these don’t correspond to our own or other quartz companies’ price bands when it comes to quoting against your kitchen plan. Higher bands will be more expensive, sure, but making direct, detailed comparisons is difficult. So much depends on the way the kitchen actually comes out of the slabs, and Arenastone sometimes really scores on price because the company offers half slabs. A job needing 1.5 Arenastone slabs can undercut the price for another bespoke material where we are forced to buy two entire jumbo slabs.

All the materials shown are available at 20mm and 30mm thickness. Slab sizes are listed – in Group 4 most are actually available at 3200x1600mm, with only the Crema Venato coming in at a nominal 150mm width.
