Granite and Quartz Worktops Order Process

Kenley Laser Template quartz worktops 094808 a

We know that our work is specialised and may even seem mysterious. We want to help demystify the mystical and make the apparently impossible easy!

First of all, we need information from you. If you have arrived at this page via one of our online forms, you may have done this already.

(a)   Plan / layout.   Please send us a plan or layout.   This can be a kitchen designers plan or just a rough sketch with approximate dimensions which will be sufficient to enable us to prepare an estimate.   There is no need for it to be to scale but we would like an idea of the layout and where the cut outs are going to be for hobs, sinks etc as this will mean that the estimates provided will be more accurate.

(b)  Quotation form.  Please complete a quotation form and send this to us so that we can understand your requirements and help guide you towards your perfect granite or quartz worktop. We also need to know where you are in the country and if there will be any issues getting the worktops into your kitchen.

If you wish to post your plan / quotation then you can print off the form located here and send it to our address, email it to us or fax it to 01293 863824.

Please also indicate:-

(a)   If you require upstands / splash-backs.

(b)   Whether the sink(s) are under-mounted.

(c)   If you require any other extras such as window sills.

SAMPLES

If you are unsure of the granite that you would like to use then please call us on  01293 863992 so that we can assist and / or send small FREE samples (up to 3 with £7.50 p+p).  Alternatively, please arrange a visit to our workshop & warehouses at Unit 5, John Lory Farm, Charlwood Place, Norwood Hill Road, Charlwood, Surrey, RH6 0EB to view larger samples and slabs.

PRICING

We price based on your actual worktop needs and how those runs will come out of slabs. We try to be fair and careful in our quoting – the process can take time for complicated kitchens, but careful quoting is part of a customer service process which goes right through to careful fitting.

Even if your measurements are a little bit out, as long as we can still make the worktops from the slabs allocated, then the price will not change.

Formal Quotation

Having calculated the amount of stone or worktop that you require, we will prepare an individual written quotation which will illustrate our calculations and include the number and type of cut outs we have allowed for plus any extras we have discussed.

Placing Your Order

If you are happy with the formal quotation then to place an order we require a 20% deposit (50% for bespoke materials or fits at third party addresses).

The granite can only be allocated on receipt of the deposit which can be paid by cheque, debit or credit card (unfortunately we cannot accept American Express cards).   We also require a signed copy of the formal quotation.

On receipt of your deposit we will book you into your preferred installation week (subject to availability). We do not provide you with an exact templating or installation date as it is very difficult to predict accurately when your kitchen will be ready – 9 times out of 10 people aren’t ready when they think they are going to be so this provides flexibility!
