National Barbecue Week – and we were a week early for it with our article! Who would’ve known?!
So here’s a second outdoor kitchen-focussed blog in a row. This week, Cassie and I headed down to Cedar Nursery near Cobham to meet our friends from Kitchen in the Garden.
Cedar Nursery
Cedar Nursery has many of the features you would expect to see in any other garden centre. But there are fewer plants, far less compost, and vastly more in terms of garden structures, kitchens, furniture.
What is also striking is that Cedar Nursery is an outlet which plays host to a bunch of other businesses. Check out their page for the on-site partners who work together to provide a wide-ranging garden and outdoor living service. We work principally with Kitchen in the Garden, but from our perspective (and in the way we talk about the barbecue worktop installations we do for their clients) we generally think of ourselves as working for Cedar Nursery.
Kitchen in the Garden
So Kitchen in the Garden is our main client on the Cedar Nursery site – and they create superb barbecue and pizza oven-driven kitchens all over Surrey, Sussex and surrounding counties. Kitchens need worktops, and we are happy to work in close partnership with KitG to provide their customers with the very best in solid stone worksurfaces.

Kitchen in the Garden is an authorised supplier for many of the biggest names in barbecues and other outdoor cooking appliances. They do the cooker – we do the granite worktops to either side, or in which the appliance is mounted.
Barbecue grills and other appliances come in all shapes and sizes and to suit all budgets. Kalamazoo are right at the top of the tree, with laser-cut solid steel grills and true multi-fuel capability.
We have significant showroom installations at Cedar Nursery. You can see various types of Laminam and our classic stones Black Pearl and Steel Grey in leathered versions.
