Silestone by Cosentino - Big Brand in Quartz around the World

Silestone

Silestone worktops, like those of other quartz brands, are made up of 90-95% quartz and other hard glass, mineral or metallic materials etc. The other 5-10% is composed of polyester resin, a kind of plastic. Cosentino of Spain, the maker of Silestone, is one of the oldest companies in the field. Innovators in design and technological development, Silestone has made this family-run company an multinational presence with plants in many countries in a quarter of a century. We have visited Cosentino HQ in Almeria on several occasions, taking with us representatives our kitchen company clients. See our reports here and here.

Silestone has a number of advantages, among them:

  • an on-going commitment to the use of recycled material – in the old and now discontinued ECO brand and now Hybriq+ materials which limit the use of crystalline silica and contain at least 20% recycled material, with 99% recycled water and 100% sustainable power used in the production. See the logo for products featuring this technology below.
  • materials at the forefront of design innovation
  • a 25 year guarantee (your worktops purchase needs to be registered with Silestone)

Silestone - Product Range

Cosentino is in the forefront of technological innovation and product design, with many cheaper manufacturers simply trying to copy what the Silestone labs have produced.

We have featured several ranges of Silestone worktops at their launch on our blog. See the stunning Eternal Range, the bright Sunlit Days, the Urban Loft Series and the mysterious Ethereals.

Our listing, below, of Silestone materials isn’t exhaustive – other Silestone quartz worktops are available: for Cosentino’s own page of Silestone worktops, look here. The products are grouped into price bands below – but remember, where we do not stock a stone, the price for buying it specially on a bespoke basis may be far higher than it would be for a more expensive stone that we hold in stock.

Please do not hesitate to contact us for a quote, for further details of Silestone worktop colours or to request a sample.
