AMBER LIVING OPENING EPSOM

On Saturday 19th September 2026, we were delighted to visit the opening of the new Amber Living showroom by Amber Group on West Street in Epsom.

Amber Group offers a broad range of services covering virtually every aspect of home maintenance and building projects. From smaller plumbing and maintenance jobs through to major projects such as loft conversions and extensions, Amber has the experience and expertise to take on projects of all sizes. The company works throughout Surrey and across the areas inside the M25.

There is also a strong shared ethos between Amber Group and AG Stoneworks, particularly when it comes to customer service. Amber places considerable importance on the customer experience and on delivering a high-quality service, which is something we naturally feel very strongly about ourselves.

The showroom launch had a wonderfully relaxed, family feel, with plenty of Amber employees, partners and children enjoying the day. Not every launch in our industry offers face painting! For those of us who weren’t quite ready to emerge as tigers, there was always the more grown-up combination of croissants and coffee to fall back on.

The Amber Living Showroom

The Amber Living Showroom itself is an exquisite space, combining effortless comfort with contemporary style.

The display kitchen features a beautifully designed banquette island, topped with a 30mm Calacatta Bronzite Horizon Quartz worktop, supplied and installed by AG Stoneworks.

For the main wall run of the kitchen, Amber Group selected 20mm Alluring by Radianz Quartz. The same material was used for the full-length splashback, extending up to a beautifully positioned wooden shelf.

Alluring has a much softer character, with a creamy-white background and a subtle scattering of delicate gold sparkle. It works particularly well with the pale shaker cabinetry, creating a light and sophisticated look without becoming overpowering.

The Calacatta Bronzite quartz used for the kitchen island also makes an appearance elsewhere in the showroom, creating some lovely visual continuity between the different areas of the property. In the beautifully designed bathroom, the material has been used to add distinctive accents, bringing the same combination of warm bronze, coppery and grey veining into the space.

It is a great example of how quartz worktops and other quartz surfaces can be used beyond the kitchen, helping to create a consistent design theme throughout a home. The dramatic veining of Calacatta Bronzite gives the bathroom plenty of character, while the subtle sparkle within the surface catches the light and adds another layer of interest. Used alongside the bathroom’s carefully chosen finishes, it provides an elegant connection with the kitchen and shows just how versatile this particular quartz can be.

A Warm and Inviting Living Space

Beyond the kitchen, the living area has been designed to feel incredibly comfortable and inviting. A tray ceiling, incorporating internal lighting and ornate moulding, helps to define the space, while a natural palette of creams, beiges and warm wood finishes creates a very relaxed atmosphere.

The contemporary media wall uses soft natural wood, with the television positioned on a central bulkhead and shelving on either side. Carefully integrated lighting beneath the units and shelves adds another layer of warmth and ambience.

It is a really appealing space, and one that demonstrates how thoughtful design and attention to detail can make a showroom feel much more like a home.

All in all, it was great to be there for the launch and to see the finished showroom in person. We are particularly pleased to have played our part through the quartz worktops and splashback, and we look forward very much to working with Amber Group on many more projects in the future.
