We sometimes encounter customers looking for a worktop they’ve seen in an AI-generated image, only to discover that an exact match is difficult or impossible to find.
Why? AI image generators create images based on patterns learned from training data and the instructions they receive. They can combine colours, textures and visual characteristics from different designs, or invent details that don’t correspond to any real product.
Your dream kitchen might feature the veining of natural marble, the colour of engineered quartz and a pattern that exists in neither!
While manufacturers offer plenty of beautiful marble-effect quartz worktops, an AI-generated image isn’t a guarantee that the exact design exists.
Why Seeing Real Worktops Matters
When choosing a kitchen worktop, we recommend visiting our showroom or a stone wholesaler to view the actual slabs.
This allows you to appreciate the true colours, veining, textures and finishes. Natural marble and other stones have unique patterns, while quartz offers a range of designs, including marble-inspired finishes.
Seeing the real material helps you make an informed decision and avoid disappointment when your kitchen is installed.
