Horizon Stone - Classic's even-better-value sister-brand

HORIZON-STONE logo

Horizon Stone is a secondary brand run by Classic Quartz. Historically, Horizonstone tended to be used for commercial, large scale, multi-unit kitchen jobs – blocks of flats and other new developments. It was regarded as cheaper and not as good as other Classic Quartz materials.

We feel that this has changed. Some really very striking materials have come through from Horizon Stone – probably at the top of the list their amazing Calacatta Bronzite.

Superb Horizonstone Calacatta Bronzite

Horizon Stone - A few stones from the range

The Horizonstone range is not huge but it is quite fluid and we can’t track all of the changes on this website. So here are some of their offerings in quartz worktops, as of March 2025.

Horizonstone Monsanto

Whether or not it is a good idea to name quartz worktops after a brand of genetically engineered soya beans, we have actually fitted many kitchen countertops in this stone. People really like it.

Calacatta Supernova

Calacatta Inferno

Calacatta-style stone with a devilishly red tone in the vein

Calacatta Perla

Delicate veining in Calacatta Perla quartz worktops

Samana

Broader softer veins in Samana quartz worktops

Fantazia

Another soft but broad-veined marble-look quartz

Calacatta Moderna

Leeds Grey

Persian Green

Sodalite Blue

Blue crystalline look in a quartz – somewhat reminiscent of Blue Pearl granite but with bigger swirls

Horizon Stone - The Construction Range

As well as the “retail” range shown in the examples above, Horizon Stone also produces a “construction range”, aimed at larger building projects. Here are a  few example stones.

Horizonstone Calacatta River

A good Calacatta in the economical construction range.

Misterio Deluxe

Gentle, random-looking veining

Alaska White

White with delicate “parallel” veining – in the style of Classic Quartz’ older Alaska Bianca

Calacatta Luna

Subtly-veined Calacatta

Ice Storm

Classic sparkly white quartz worktop

Horizonstone provides a fairly middle of the road range of economical quartz worktops – with one or two offerings which are very definitely NOT middle of the road.  The Calacatta Bronzite and the Sodalite Blue stand out, for me.
