The clocks are changing, Guy Fawkes Night is just around the corner, and we’re beginning to prepare for a warm, practical winter. As the days grow shorter and the temperatures start to fall, many of us are looking for sensible ways to stay cosy while keeping an eye on heating costs — no small challenge with rising fuel prices and household budgets under what seems everlasting pressure.

Even if we could perhaps do without the occasional spider making an unexpected appearance in the sink!

While costs can often rise towards the end of the year, waiting until after the festive season — and perhaps until the in-laws have headed home! — could prove worthwhile.

We’re delighted to offer at least 5% off all kitchen worktop installations for the New Year, when booked — with deposit paid — at any time during October and November.
If you’re already planning a kitchen upgrade for the New Year, this is a great opportunity to secure your installation date and make a saving at the same time. And if you’re still weighing up whether to have your granite worktops fitted before Christmas or wait until after the festive season, this offer could make the decision a little easier.
By encouraging more installations after the Christmas period, we’re also hoping to spread our workload more evenly. This helps ease the traditional pre-Christmas rush for those last-minute, “impress-the-in-laws” kitchen projects, while allowing our skilled templating and fitting teams to stay busy throughout January and February.

A Few Important Notes
There isn’t too much small print to this offer, but there are a few things worth bearing in mind:
- The promotion does not apply to kitchen companies or trade customers who already benefit from substantial trade discounts.
- As we approach the end of the year, we take a more cautious approach to installations further afield. We therefore reserve the right not to quote or tender for granite or quartz worktops outside our immediate area.
- We also reduce the number of “Supply Only” and “Supply & Deliver” orders we take on during this period. Smaller projects such as hearths and bathroom vanity tops may therefore need to be scheduled for 2027.
- Our semi-permanent “Bin End Sale” of offcuts will also be paused over the festive period. This means there will be no further reductions on end-of-batch slabs until the New Year.

It may be an unwelcome shock to think that Christmas and the New Year are not far off – and to be honest, we have put this offer up earlier than usual this year. But there’s certainly something to be said for planning ahead! At least we haven’t got carried away and started putting up the Christmas decorations in early October, as some businesses seem to do.
