Moulins Taps: Special price while stocks last!
As a one-off special offer we have a few 1810 Company Moulins Taps available at a special low price. It’s one of those stocking things – we just need to clear some extra stock and thought a special low price was a good way to do it.
The 1810 Company Moulins Tap - Brushed Steel Finish
The Moulins Tap is a classic bridge-style tap available in a variety of finishes. You can see a wider range of looks on the 1810 website, where recommended prices start from £361 for the cheapest version, in Chrome. We have some brand new Moulins available in brushed steel at only £240 inc VAT.
Traditional bridge taps come into their own in traditional kitchens. We find ourselves most frequently drilling those pairs of twin holes in classy natural stones or high-end marble-look quartz. Generally, the worktops are going onto Shaker, often in-frame, units. A bridge tap like the 1810 Moulins is one of those perfect finishing touches to create a Victorian, cottage, retro-look kitchen.
Incidentally, the image here is from the 1810 Company themselves. I’m afraid that this vein-matching (or lack of it!) would make our workshop and fitting staff cringe – that is NOT the way to get the best from a big-vein marble-look quartz! Check out our article on vein matching.
Of course, “traditional kitchens” are totally modern beneath the surface. Behind those Shaker front panels are dishwashers and freezers and all the rest – conveniences that the Victorians who created the style wouldn’t have dreamed of! The same goes for the 1810 Company Moulins tap. Under that olde worlde exterior is a thoroughly modern piece of plumbing engineering. This is a high quality mixer tap, robust and reliable.

Taking advantage of two (or three!) great offers in one
Why not pair this “while stocks last offer” with our January & February special on Classic Quartz Fiji and 1810 Company sinks? Fiji is a soft, greige stone which, while not a copy of any natural material, has a marbled look which suits traditional kitchens. By bringing together the three offers, you could save around £600 or more on your worktops, sink and tap on even a moderate sized-kitchen. That sounds worthwhile to me!
