Blue Pearl Granite Worktops in Brockham Surrey

Affordable Granite started life based in Brockham, in the shadow of Box Hill, and we still frequently install worktops in the village.

Mr and Mrs P had a new kitchen fitted in Ivory from Benchmarx, with CDA appliances, and a Della tap in brushed steel from Bath Empire. To complement the whole installation they chose Blue Pearl Granite worktops from us.

THE FINER DETAILS
The blue colouring makes a fashionable change from the black granites

Blue Pearl Granite

Norwegian Blue Pearl granite has timeless beauty and class. A premium stone, it is never a dominant colour in the market, but nor does it ever go out of fashion. (Trivet from John Lewis)

Window sill made from the same granite as the worktops

Windowsill

The windowsill was also manufactured in granite. Although many customers choose sills in 20mm thickness, in this case 30mm was specified. As the sill was more than 100mm above the worktop, a bespoke height upstand was fitted at this point.

Blue and Cream

The classic combination of Blue Pearl Granite with cream tones in the units and floor tiles. Due to the overall length of the run, the worktop had to be joined at this point. The image shows how unobtrusive a colour-matched silicone join can be.

Undermounted sink

Undermount Sink

Affordable Granite supplied this neat Etrouno single bowl undermount sink from the 1810 Company, our regular sink suppliers. This photo shows how Blue Pearl reflects the different colours and angles of light that fall on it: part of the magic and unpredictability of natural stones of this type.

Offset tap next to sink cut-out

Offset Tap

The tap is offset to one side so as to maintain the strength of the granite at the sink cutout.  This is practical and looks attractive
