GRANITE AND QUARTZ WORKTOP NEWS

Easter

p1130221-a

Spring on the farm, and we are working flat out producing granite and quartz kitchen worktop for customers across our area. January and February are generally quieter on sales, and then it really takes off, as building projects for the summer months are planned and booked in.

We are now fitting 20 sets of granite worktops a week, plus manufacturing one (generally small) job on a supply-only basis every day. That is in a five day week – if there is one thing that makes life complicated at this time of year it is the stream of bank holidays cutting us down to four days. Our stonemasons and fitters often work at weekends, but even so, we tend to have a lengthening lead time at this time of year. SO… if your fancy is turning to thoughts of a new kitchen this spring, feel free to come down, meet our team, see our stock and samples, and get booked in before the slots are all gone!

Do check out the new case study just published on Silestone Negro Stellar. This black, sparkly quartz has been a steady selling, perennial favourite over recent years. The installation is a typical one, with a monochrome look – black quartz worktops on gloss white units.

As we get back to work after the Easter weekend, the hot topic in our enquiries is still big vein marble-look quartz, especially in white. Have a look at our previous blog post to get up to speed with some of the stunning materials now available. Quartz manufacturers are falling over themselves trying to outdo each other’s products for this look in stone kitchen worktops.

Of course, Affordable Granite isn’t the only reason to drive out to Charlwood. Here are some of Tina’s pictures of spring lambs around the farm. Tina is our head administrator and as such will prepare your invoice and take your money. I am sure you will agree that she also takes a lovely photo!
