Classic Black Galaxy is our most popular premium granite with iridescent coppery broncite crystals in a pure black field. This luxuriously polished stone brings the milky way into your kitchen, and is especially magnificent under the intense lighting systems now being installed. It is an extremely durable stone which is particularly hard, with a relatively uniform colour and background..

Black Galaxy quarries are only located around one village in Andhra Pradesh in India and the quarries are starting to become depleted. Although the quality of the stone remains high, it has variations in the size and distribution of crystals which mean we cannot guarantee a specific pattern.

With a highly polished sheen together with its imbedded copper flecks, Black Galaxy granite worktops make an attractive companion to contemporary gold/silver kitchen accessories.
