Focus on Fiji Quartz Worktops from Classic Quartz
Centre stage among the quartz worktop stones selected for our Platinum Jubilee Special Offer is Fiji, from Classic Quartz. We have had Fiji on offer before, and we may yet do again. It is one of those stones which we love to sell – representing great value, a colour which works in many different kitchens, and a texture/pattern which makes it supremely liveable-with.
We have featured Fiji in some of our moodboard blogs. It is one of those “go with anything” materials. A soft greige with tons of pattern-texture without being in your face, it is incredibly easy to maintain and live with. There is sparkle, too, but again, not so much as to feel tacky or over-blingy. A winner on so many levels.
This lovely kitchen by Kitchen Design Hub of Uckfield has very on-trend teal units on which the massive Fiji quartz island makes a stunning centre piece.
Another KDH kitchen, this time near Sheffield Park, East Sussex. Grey and Blue units, again, all held together with Fiji quartz worktops. The island is not quite so big, but the kitchen overall is larger, with two sinks and a magnificent range.
I had a lengthy chat with the homeowner. A busy life, with children, dogs and horses to look after, a really practical worktop was the aim. “It is possible to get it spotlessly clean, but it doesn’t growl at you when it isn’t!” she told me.
The kitchen is unusual in that all three of the windowsills are at the same level as the quartz worktops – we ran deep into the reveal on all three worktop runs. The result is very spacious and practical.
