Quartz worktops in Haywards Heath? You might think that the centre of Sussex would be very conservative, tending only to favour natural stone, granite worktops. But you would be wrong. We have seen ever increasing numbers of quartz worktop installations in the town, and the ratio of granite to quartz here certainly keeps pace with other areas where we frequently provide the countertops for our customers’ kitchens.

Haywards Heath is arguably almost a self-consciously pleasant place to live. Some might say bland, even dull. However, the night-life on the Broadway of a Friday night could tell a different story. In the time that I have known the town it has actually become steadily livelier.
I lived for years in Haywards Heath. If the town’s reputation for dullness is at all deserved, it has also given Haywards Heath one of its best loved (or loathed) institutions. The website This is Haywards Heath was started by some students at the Sixth Form College back in the 90s, I think, and is still going. There are sections of it that have made me laugh to weeping point. Some Brazilian friends who were looking at living in the town found the site and actually took it fully seriously; they definitely wanted to live here. Such is the allure of HH!
