Which town was mentioned in the Domesday book, used to be a cross-channel ferry port, was known as “The Children’s Paradise” in the 1920s, is known for its water & oil drilling rigs, was the home for the first Blue Peter Lifeboat in the 1960s and is now the Headquarters of the Body Shop? Answers on a postcard please – send it to Littlehampton, on the Coast of West Sussex between Worthing and Bognor Regis.

This unassuming holiday town is actually far more of a commercial centre than many people realise, with quality welding, boat building & drilling rig production being perhaps surprisingly heavy industries linked to the town. With good employment and many older homes, kitchen refurbishments are frequent, and our vans are often to be seen in the area.

Steve and Sally are two Littlehampton residents who chose Black Galaxy Granite for their kitchen worktops. They wrote to us shortly after their installation:

“Dear Andy & team,

We just wanted to let you know how pleased we were with the worktops that you supplied and also the excellent service that we received from start to finish – sales through to fitting. We were especially impressed by the high level of communication throughout, so that the whole job was completely stress-free. We have completed the check-a-trade forms and scored you 10 for all categories.

Please pass on this feedback to your team, as they deserve to be recognized for their contributions.”

Best regards,
- Steven & Sally
