AG STONEWORKS – NEW BRAND, NEW WEBSITE!

AG Stoneworks has been a while coming, but it is finally here.

It was early in 2024 that we had a big brainstorming session across all the AG staff. We were discussing our long-term challenge – how to communicate to our clients, especially high-end kitchen companies, given that we are ourselves a high-end granite worktop fabricator, but always connected to that word “affordable”.

Since our original launch, the market has changed and diversified. Customer expectation at the top end has moved steadily up, and we have moved with it. We offer more refinements, and our quality is more refined. We have invested hugely in bigger and better machinery, and training and qualifications for our fitters. With those changes has come increased market share with some very classy kitchen and joinery firms – we are Quality Granite, and the Affordable name is only suited to the most basic quarter of what we do.

Hence a rebranding, aimed especially at our business clients. We are still Affordable Granite, but now we are also AG Stoneworks.

AG Stoneworks needed a website

Let’s face it, these days no website = no business. A rebranding process sometimes feels like it is a piece of web-development!

We looked at many kitchen and kitchen worktop websites, as well as websites from similar though different industries. We also looked at a whole range of website developers.

In the end it was Georgina of Studio Hart and Georgina Hart who got the job. She seemed to understand the brief exactly and really helped us turn our ideas into something that was visually beautiful.

From the AG end, although the brainstorming had been across the company, it was Cassie who related most closely with Georgina in the hard work of getting the new site off the ground. Fantastic job!

We really wanted the new site to speak through images. 

We were looking for a website that would be primarily visual instead of verbal, and which would show off the very best of our craftsmanship and the fantastic materials which are now available for kitchen worktops.

As the in-house photographer at AG, I worked with Cassie on a number of special shoots, taking in some recent kitchens which we knew would really hit the sport so far as beautiful design was concerned. Some of these kitchens really were outstanding – among the best I have ever photographed. I have written up the process of photographing for the new website on my own blog.

New name – new logo – new uniform – the AG Stoneworks Team!

So there it is – a new website to present AG Stoneworks to the world. We hope you like it!

Although the new site is mainly aimed at our Business-to-Business B2B clients, we know that many end-use customers will find it too. And that doesn’t matter. We think that some will fall in love with what they see – and badger their kitchen company to use AG Stoneworks as worktop supplier!  Others will simply make contact directly, using the new site’s contact form or other details.

Whatever route people come by, we are glad to be on the map as AG Stoneworks, delivering the very best in solid stone for kitchens and bathrooms and around the home!
