A lovely slab of Lamar Roman Classic
Lamar Ceramic worktops are made in the same kind of way as Dekton. They are formed under immense pressure and at high temperatures. As a result, they have all the benefits you would associate with a ceramic or porcelain worktop – fantastic resistance to scratching and staining, easy to clean, and very resistant to heat damage.
The finish is printed onto the slab which has a “body” colour which reflects the main background colour of the print. They are therefore not full-bodied, and your worktop edges will not show vein continuity.
You do also need to remember that the hardness of ceramic does make these worktops relatively brittle under impact. But for heat resistance and cleanability, they are unrivalled!
