Dave Peck
Dave has been one of our key granite worktop fitters for over four years. He works with Ashley in our second team, the pair of them installing two full sets of kitchen worktops every day, all over the South East, day in and day out.
Dave is the kind of guy for whom the phrase “gentle giant” could have been invented. Strong, polite, easy-going, he is as good company as he is a good fitter. Family man, friend and colleague, Dave loves a laugh, relishes a challenge, enjoys creative writing and is a reggae addict.

‘Class clown’ might not quite suit him, but Dave is one of the best-humoured, warmest guys.
Granite worktop fitters have lives too! Despite the long hours put in on the vans and in the workshop, the AG staff have homes to go to and most of us have families. Families bring joys and challenges, as we all know.
A little while back, one of Dave’s children was diagnosed with moderate deafness. It’s the kind of situation where even the strongest need support, and Dave and his wife have found amazing help from The National Deaf Children’s Society. Now the big man wants to give something back.
Next April Dave will be taking part as a Rough Runner in an Obstacle Course event over in Winchester, Hampshire. He is looking for sponsors via his JustGiving page, and it’s all in Aid of The National Deaf Children’s Society. A modest man, we think he has set his target really low and we want to help him smash it!
