The Affordable Granite blog gets read! It sometimes seems strange to me, as I write these weekly pieces from the worktop front line, but we seem to have a lot of readers. That includes a lot of industry people, but lots of future customers, together with previous customers and friends of the firm. Thank you for reading – it is good to know that there is someone out there looking in.

Constant work on the website
We are very conscious that our website sets the standard for design ideas, technical support and honest information about kitchens in general and granite and quartz worktops in particular. As such, we need to keep working on it – keeping abreast of trends, and making sure that our site keeps up with technical and other innovations in website design. We are just coming up towards a small revamp of the look of the website and I thought I would take the opportunity to reach out to our customers and suppliers.
Granite worktop photos and our website
I take most of the granite worktop photos for our website. From quick snaps of slabs arriving in the workshop, through to full-blown finished kitchen shoots, the site has a hunger for quality images that really inform and illustrate the information that we can present. We install 20 or more sets of granite worktop each week, and with a whole team of photographers, we couldn’t keep up with all of the beautiful kitchens that we have the privilege of “topping out”.

Do you have photos of your Affordable Granite worktops?
If we have manufactured or installed quartz or granite worktops in your kitchen (or a hearth or bathroom vanity top, for that matter) and you have images of the finished kitchen, we would love to see them! Particularly if the stone used was an unusual one, or if you are excited about some aspect of the design, then I am sure that our regular blog readers would like to hear from you. Your challenges and victories with your kitchen can feed back to industry leaders in this way – you can be a real help to others.
