New Quartz Worktops - Two new materials in our warehouse
Every time I see an interesting new material in the warehouse, I reach for my camera. Over the last week we have had two striking and unusual new quartz worktops in, both of which bring something fresh and different to the market.Â
Here are a few photos of each of them – starting with a full slab view, followed by some close ups to show the details of the pattern in these quartz worktops. We look forward to showing these slabs machined and installed as quartz worktops in a client’s kitchen!
New Quartz Worktops - CRL Palermo

A very striking material from one of the UK’s lesser known quartz worktop importers! I think that CRL Palermo fits into the same kind of market space as the stunning Calacatta Bronzite from Horizon Stone but with a narrower and warmer colour palette. Slabs are 3200x1600mm and are available in 20 and 30mm.
New Quartz Worktops - Classic Quartz Neptune

This new quartz worktop material is VERY different! At a time when soft greens are becoming so fashionable this stone from Classic Quartz is right on the money. It also makes an interesting change from the “big vein marble” look which is so dominant at the moment. In a sense, Neptune quartz is moving into the colour and texture territory of Vancouver quartzite, but with a smaller scale pattern and a far more affordable price.

Every week there is something new and interesting in the warehouse, and I know that we can cater to all possible tastes when it comes to kitchen worktops. Â
This morning I was photographing a truly amazing kitchen with a wonderfully airy feel and a large but subtle vein in white quartz worktops. Next week I may be shooting something like the mysterious Quartzforms Nirvana shown here. There really is a quartz worktop for everyone!
