We may be Surrey-based but we love Kent, and we think Kent loves us! Since we began, Kentish towns like Tonbridge and Sevenoaks have been regular ports of call for our granite worktop vans, and this is on the increase. In part that is because two of our sales staff now have a Kent bias – Andrew and Annabel have recently both moved to Kent from Surrey, and we tend to jump on enquiries that come in from our home areas.
Of course, we are based not that far from the Kent border anyway. We can be in Westerham or Sevenoaks, or even Snodland or Dartford, as quickly as we can be in Guildford, where the boss lives! We charge nothing extra for travel to most of the county – especially the most populous areas – with only the coastal towns beyond Canterbury really picking up a surcharge

Obviously, we install granite worktops most frequently in West Kent (Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks, Maidstone) and the areas which count as Greater London (Beckenham, Bromley, Orpington, Chislehurst etc.) but we quite frequently make it as far down as Ashford, Canterbury and the seaside towns and ports of Dover, Ramsgate, Folkestone and Margate.

Kent has a rich history and is often referred to as the “Garden of England” due to its natural beauty and agricultural heritage. The county is known for its numerous historic sites, including Canterbury Cathedral, Leeds Castle, Dover Castle, and Rochester Castle.
Kent is also blessed with excellent transport links. It is hard to overstate the importance of the Dover Channel crossing to the continent, and it is the infrastructure that goes with that which makes it so easy for us to install granite worktops so far into Kent.

Although Kent is a fairly conservative county when it comes to taste in kitchen decor, some Kent people are ready to be more adventurous, installing granite worktops like this amazing Lemurian Blue from Madagascar, imported by Cullifords of Kingston.
