I am really sorry to be one of the first to mention the C-word, but it really is that time of year again! Christmas is a coming, the goose is getting fat, and homes across the UK seem to be crying out for new kitchens and worktops.

As we get closer to the end of the year the pace of our work gradually picks up – and if the year so far is anything to go by, it is going to end at a pretty manic speed for us. The building/renovation business is running at massive output at present, and yet suffering from the worst problem of materials shortages that any of us can remember. We ourselves have just completed the biggest September we have ever had, and we already have many installation slots booked in every week up to Christmas and into the New Year.

It is at least some sign of normality returning that the New Year offer is back. We ran it for many years but 2020 blew everything into a state of weird. It feels good to do something that seems familiar from pre-Covid days!

The purpose of the New Year offer is, of course, to encourage customers who are wondering about a granite worktop installation before Christmas to get it done in the New Year instead. That helps our workflow, making the months more even and avoiding a lull in January and February.

The New Year offer deal is simple…

• All full kitchen installations for private customers…
• Booked from now to the end of November 2021…
• For New Year fitting…
• Get at least 5% discount
  (sometimes nearer 10%, depending on material)

There isn’t a great deal of small print on this one more to say, but please note that it doesn´t apply to kitchen companies and other regular trade customers who already have a discount as standard with us. Please do bear in mind, though, that as we approach the end of the year:

• we are particularly careful about travelling long distances to install kitchen worktops – we reserve the right not to quote or tender for installations outside of our immediate area
• we tend to restrict the number of “Supply Only” jobs we do – that hearth,  vanity top or windowsills may need to wait until 2022
• we definitely put a hold on our near-perpetual “Bin End Sale” of offcuts – there will now be no reductions on end of batch slabs until New Year 2022
