CLASSIC QUARTZ STATUARIO MILAN

If you follow this blog regularly you will know how often we write about white marble-look quartz. Statuario Milan from Classic Quartz is a little different from the Carrara and Calacatta-look materials which dominate. Here’s a brief introduction to this lovely and slightly unusual stone. We have just received two slabs for a kitchen installation for a Benjamin Allen Homes kitchen, and we are excited enough to write about it.

Statuario Milan quartz worktops have a fairly strong grey vein on a good solid white background. The veining has a parallel feel, and is arranged on the diagonal across the slab, which is the best way to give a good look in most kitchens, and makes it easier to achieve good vein-matching at any joins.

As with any bespoke material (bought in especially), cost is higher than for our stock stones, but Statuario Milan quartz worktops from Classic Quartz still work out at a very reasonable price compared to higher-end manufacturers.
